Santa Claus made a special visit Christmas morning to deliver presents to patients staying in La Rabida’s inpatient unit. Giving his reindeer a break, Santa rode in on a Chicago Fire Department engine with lights and sirens to spread his holiday cheer!

For decades, Santa has made an annual stop on Christmas to visit patients. The son of La Rabida’s original Santa Claus who has since passed away, our current Saint Nicholas brings this beloved tradition into its 53rd year.
