Women in Support of La Rabida

Women in Support of La Rabida (WIS) was founded in 2002 by longtime volunteer Willia Parker.  This group brings together professional women representing Chicago’s business, educational, and legal communities to raise money on behalf of La Rabida. 

Every summer the women host a fundraiser -- Cruisin’ on a Sunday Afternoon -- on board one of Lake Michigan’s dining cruise ships.  Guests enjoy a sumptuous buffet, live music and a silent auction.
