WCIU's The Jam features Woodlawn twins' generosity for La Rabida's patients
Wednesday August 2nd, 2017
For years La Rabida’s kids have benefitted from the generosity of Woodlawn twins David and Maya, who started their lemonade stand when they were just 7 years old to raise money to buy toys, games, books, strollers and more for our patients. The twins, now 13, were back again this summer to sell their beverages and raise money for La Rabida through GoFundMe. Their philanthropic efforts were recognized earlier this week when they were featured as the first “Real Chicagoans” on WCIU’s new show, The Jam.
