Kristin Lynch Joins La Rabida as Major Gifts Officer

Kristin Lynch joins La Rabida Children’s Hospital as Major Gifts Officer, bringing broad fundraising experience in the non-profit world to her new role.
As La Rabida’s Major Gifts Officer, Lynch is responsible for identifying major gift prospects and developing donor cultivation strategies. She works closely with hospital leadership to identify and secure major gifts, as well as train volunteer solicitors where needed. Lynch oversees the Moves Management process to document donor development history and works with the Public Relations Department to coordinate media strategies and campaigns for fundraising events.
In addition, Lynch serves as the Development Office supervisor, overseeing gift processing, and special events coordination.
Before joining La Rabida, Lynch held increasingly responsible positions at the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, most recently as Director of Development. At the museum, Lynch managed a comprehensive development program with an annual revenue goal of $4.5 million.
At Habitat for Humanity, Lynch completed a year of AmeriCorps VISTA volunteer service, coordinated national events, and produced communication materials among other duties.
Lynch, 29, holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
