Tuesday June 16th, 2009
Food 4 Less is pleased to announce that it is raising funds to support Chicago’s La Rabida Children’s Hospital.
Food 4 Less customers and team members can support the fund-raising effort to benefit La Rabida Children’s Hospital through the supermarket chain’s nonprofit arm, The Food 4 Less Fund, by donating their spare change in collection canisters located at the checkstands in their neighborhood Food 4 Less supermarket. The fund-raising campaign will run from June 16 through August 31, 2009.
“Food 4 Less believes strongly in giving back to the community,” said Chris O’Leary, Group Vice President & General Manager of Food 4 Less Midwest. “We’re pleased to extend our commitment to support La Rabida Children’s Hospital. We cannot think of a better way to invest in our communities than by giving families and children hope through our support of La Rabida Children’s Hospital.”
